You can search OcenDataPortal in different ways:
- Simple Search : here you can
simply enter some keywords (eg salinity, temperature). ODP will then
provide you with a list of data collections (resources) where the term,
eg salinity, appeared in the title of description field. If you click
on a result then you will see the full description. You can also access
the data by ticking the box in front of the data collection (resource)
of your choice, followed by clicking the button "data access". On the
right side of the resource title you you can then click on the item
to view a graph of the data set, or you can click on to download a zip file containing the data set.

- Advanced Search :here
you can execute complex searches using a geospatial interface. This
will result in the same type of list of data resources from which you
can then either view or download the data.
The direct URL for the data service is http://data.oceandataportal.org/
Below you can see some examples of the screens you will see.
If you are a data centre manager or a scientist then you most probably have vast amounts of data that you yourself collected or that you are managing. So why not share these data with the global ocean research community?
