To share your data with the Ocean Data Portal community it is necessary to:

1- Maintain your data in a computerized data base

2- Install the ODP Data Provider Software

You can download the software HERE (currently we have versions available for MS Windows and Linux OpenSUSE. Other versions can be prepared upon request. You will find details on the installation and configuration of the software HERE . In addition detailed instructions are available from the OceanTeacher Classroom HERE

3- Describe your data sets

4- Make sure the computer on which the ODP Data Provider Software is connected 24/7 to the Internet

Users will only be able to access and download your data if the database server on which the data reside is connected to the Internet permanently. Otherwise the users will only have access to the data description (metadata).
